You can expect a warm welcome - MGBC members are caring folk and you'll be greeted by several of our folks! We don't assign greeters we are not that formal or mechanical, you'll know quickly that we appreciate your attendance. Our belief is when God sends someone our way that He is investing in our Church and we are to draw interest in that investment. --- The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar. You can expect old time worship - We believe that the Lord is worthy of our worship, we are thankful for what He has done for and in our lives! We worship in what many call traditional style but we believe it would better be described as Biblical worship! Our songs are based upon truths of the scripture and we love to lift up our voices in praise. --- O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. Psalms 95:1-2
You can expect preaching out of the the King James Bible - if you do not have a Bible, not to worry, we provide pew Bibles so everyone can follow along. --- Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2
You can expect to be challenged by the truths of the word of God - Our pastor is not a prophet, he is a preacher, a herald of the Gospel message. He will strive to teach you the truth, but he will also challenge you to make God honouring decisions for your life. --- And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15
You can expect folks dressed in a conservative God honoring style - Yes our folks dress up for Church! Isn't Church supposed to be somewhere different from the world? But if you come we are not dressed to impress or condemn you, so please don't let dress deter you. --- Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. John 7:24
You can expect to want to come back again - Most folks do want to come back. This page is just an introduction, but you need the experience! Please do come and be with us in our next service. --- And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25
You can expect a visit - "If" desired you can give us your name and address. And we will make every attempt to let you know that you matter to us by visiting you in your home very soon after the service you attend. --- And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do. Acts 15:36
